Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and other items to various locations within Adigbe and wider Abeokuta.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing navigation tools effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including package details, recipient signatures, and time stamps.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, addressing any delivery-related inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure the motorcycle is well-maintained, clean, and in excellent working condition; report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle cash payments for deliveries accurately and submit them as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed, ensuring their security during transit.
- Represent Career.zycto with a positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A motorcycle rider's license
- Proven experience as a dispatch rider or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Abeokuta roads and routes, particularly Adigbe and surrounding areas
- Strong navigation and geographical understanding
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry packages
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE certificate.
- Basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance and troubleshooting.
