As a Logistics Dispatcher, you will be the central point of contact, coordinating between drivers, customers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and dispatch daily routes for drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency and timely deliveries/pickups.
- Monitor fleet movements using GPS tracking systems and provide real-time updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and any potential issues or changes.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve delivery or pickup discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth coordination of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including routes, mileage, and driver logs.
- Proactively identify and address potential delays or problems, implementing solutions to minimize impact.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on dispatch operations, performance, and fleet utilization.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to enhance routing, tracking, and overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Dispatcher or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Excellent knowledge of logistics operations, transportation regulations, and routing software.
- Strong geographical knowledge, particularly within Germany and surrounding regions.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
