Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes in Langendreer, Bochum, and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and digital records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions.
- Handle occasional ad-hoc delivery requests and adapt to route changes with professionalism.
Required Skills
- Valid German Class B driver's license (or equivalent, relevant for light commercial vehicles).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or logistics driver.
- Clean driving record.
