Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and proper placement within the warehouse.
- Accurately sort and organize incoming and outgoing shipments in designated areas according to established inventory and routing procedures.
- Verify the integrity and quantity of shipment contents against manifests, purchase orders, or other relevant documentation, noting any discrepancies.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, which includes picking items from stock, careful packing, and precise labeling of goods for delivery.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (comprehensive training will be provided).
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and safety within the warehouse and all associated work areas.
- Promptly report any instances of damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or potential safety hazards to your immediate supervisor.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, drivers, and supervisors to seamlessly achieve daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Actively participate in periodic inventory counts and stocktaking activities to ensure accurate records.
