Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and customs clearance.
- Manage and lead a dedicated logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Ensure strict compliance with all national and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Utilize and optimize logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance data.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics performance and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and production teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure product availability.
- Manage budget for logistics operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation and expenditure control.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role (minimum 5 years).
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
