Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the status of shipments using various tracking systems and tools, from dispatch to final delivery.
- Proactively identify and investigate any deviations, delays, or discrepancies in the logistics process, developing immediate solutions.
- Analyze logistics data, including transit times, costs, and performance metrics, to identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, internal departments, and clients regarding shipment statuses, issues, and resolutions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics performance, highlighting key trends, challenges, and proposed strategic recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tracking activities, communications, and documentation within our systems.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize routing, reduce transit times, and enhance overall delivery reliability.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting logistics and transportation.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or transportation analysis role.
- Proven proficiency in utilizing logistics tracking software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
