Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Execute timely and effective repairs, replacements, and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in the maintenance management system.
- Collaborate with production personnel and engineers to understand equipment performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in maintenance procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians or production staff as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical control systems (PLCs, VFDs).
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson certification in Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Electrical, or a related trade.

- Welding and fabrication skills.
