Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production targets.
- Conduct routine pre-operation and post-operation checks, including safety inspections, fluid levels, and overall equipment condition.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machinery to address malfunctions and minimize downtime, escalating complex issues to maintenance staff.
- Load and unload materials and products from machines, ensuring proper placement and handling.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues related to quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production logs, including quantities produced, downtime, and materials used.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, quality control standards, and operational procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production flow and meet deadlines.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures when required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial or manufacturing plant (minimum 2 years).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills for quality control.
- Proficiency in basic troubleshooting and problem-solving of mechanical issues.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures in an industrial environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
