Job Description
CRBC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our production line team in Turkana County, Kenya. This crucial role involves the safe and efficient operation of various heavy machinery and equipment integral to our construction material production processes, such as aggregate crushing plants, concrete batching plants, asphalt mixing plants, or pre-cast production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and optimal functioning of machinery to meet production targets while strictly adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor assigned machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, crushers, mixers, conveyor systems) on the production line in accordance with operational manuals and safety guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operation checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Adjust machine settings and controls to maintain specified production rates and product quality, responding promptly to any alarms or malfunctions.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate daily production logs, equipment maintenance records, and material usage reports.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality deviations immediately to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills

- Strong understanding of mechanical and operational principles of production line machinery.
