Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a variety of production machinery, ensuring efficient and safe performance.
  • Perform routine machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers according to production schedules.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Identify and report any mechanical malfunctions, defects, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, including output, downtime, and material usage.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and achieve production targets.
  • Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Machinery Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex machinery operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and understanding of industrial safety protocols.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity required for operating equipment and lifting materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational training or a relevant technical certificate in mechanics, manufacturing, or a related field.
