Key Responsibilities
- Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and inter-office correspondence to appropriate departments and individuals.
- Process all outgoing mail, including weighing, stamping, and preparing items for shipping via various carriers.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Operate and maintain mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scales, and sorting machines.
- Coordinate with various departments for special mailings, courier services, and urgent deliveries.
- Manage and organize mailroom supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
- Handle sensitive and confidential documents with discretion and according to established protocols.
- Assist with other administrative duties and special projects as assigned, contributing to overall office efficiency.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom environment at all times.
