Career.zycto is partnering with a prominent healthcare facility in Nakuru, Nakuru County, to recruit a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Attendant. This is a critical on-site role that ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the hospital environment. As a Maintenance Attendant, you will be responsible for a wide array of general maintenance and repair tasks, playing a vital part in upholding the high standards of a medical institution. Your work will directly contribute to patient safety, comfort, and the overall functionality of the facility, allowing medical professionals to focus on care delivery without interruption. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and appliances (e.g., checking HVAC filters, minor plumbing inspections, lighting checks).
- Conduct minor repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general facility fixtures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, patients, and visitors, prioritizing urgent issues.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address potential maintenance issues before they escalate.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with hospital safety protocols, health regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance work performed, including time, materials, and parts used.
