Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery and facility equipment.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
- Perform timely and effective corrective maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including parts used, time spent, and issues resolved.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams, process engineers, and other departments to optimize equipment performance and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and operational staff.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency with various diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imagers).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in both German and English.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance Professional (CMP), Siemens S7 PLC programming).
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
