Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems using schematics, manuals, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform skilled repairs and adjustments to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance levels.
- Implement and adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production personnel to identify and address maintenance issues promptly, minimizing operational disruption.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including PLC diagnosis and motor control.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
