Accenture is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Facilities team in Cybercity, Ebene. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our corporate properties, focusing on proactive maintenance and timely repairs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the company's property, including offices, common areas, and utility systems, to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical installations, and lighting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and carry out necessary repairs to fixtures, fittings, furniture, and general building fabric.
- Manage and oversee external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring work is completed to high standards and within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and costs, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies within the premises.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for maintenance operations.
- Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices within the facility.
- Provide support for office moves, reconfigurations, and event setups as required.
- Prepare reports on maintenance status, issues, and resolutions for facilities management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a related trade.
- Strong technical skills across multiple disciplines (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC basics).
- Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or certification in an relevant trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Valid driver's license.
- First Aid and Fire Safety certification.
