Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Execute timely and effective repairs on machinery, production equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tag-out procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance and minimize disruption.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs before they become critical.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair, including reading schematics.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
