Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
- Conduct timely and effective repairs on fixtures, fittings, furniture, and other facility assets.
- Undertake minor carpentry, painting, plastering, and general building fabric repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify defects, malfunctions, or areas requiring repair.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests and urgent repair situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance work performed, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Manage and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies, reporting needs as required.
- Assist with larger facility improvement projects, renovations, and new installations.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist repairs or services are required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Maintenance Worker or in a similar skilled trades role.
- Solid understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical systems, carpentry, and other building maintenance trades.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and interpret schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using common hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Good physical condition and strength, with a willingness to work in various environments and conditions.

- Valid UK driving license.
