Career.zycto is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead our Strategic Control division in Leigh, Manchester. This pivotal role demands a leader who can not only set strategic direction but also ensure meticulous execution and robust oversight across all operational and financial aspects of our strategic initiatives. As the Managing Director – Strategic Control, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our business interests, optimising performance, and driving sustainable growth through rigorous analysis and proactive risk management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing control frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms that provide clear insights into our strategic health and progress.

This position requires a deep understanding of corporate governance, financial modelling, operational efficiency, and market dynamics. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee robust strategic control frameworks and processes across the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and financial targets.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, and financial risks.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical success factors to track strategic progress and outcomes.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for strategic projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to executive leadership on strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement.
