Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Implement and champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Design, and Production teams during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability and smooth transitions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Evaluate and select new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and tools to enhance production capabilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing operations and report on progress and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to optimize process adherence and skill development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing processes and layouts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control techniques.
