Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Line Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Narok Cereal Mills Ltd. This critical role involves overseeing the daily operations of a designated production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, adept at managing a team of production operators, optimizing workflow, and proactively addressing any operational challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize output.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare daily production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for process improvement.
- Manage raw material inventory on the line, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient material flow.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction on the production line.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing or FMCG.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficiency in production planning and control.
