Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Manufacturing Process Analyst Trainee to join our growing team in Green Acres, Brandon. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about operational excellence, data analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. As a Trainee, you will work closely with experienced Process Analysts, Engineers, and Production teams to observe, analyze, and document manufacturing processes. You will gain hands-on experience in identifying inefficiencies, suggesting improvements, and contributing to projects that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and uphold our high-quality standards. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship, preparing you for a successful career in process optimization and industrial analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Shadow and assist senior Process Analysts in collecting and analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Document existing manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions accurately and concisely.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for production issues, contributing to the development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support the design and execution of process improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance, providing data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Learn to utilize various analytical tools and software for data visualization and process simulation.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and deliver basic training sessions to production staff on new processes or improvements.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting processes and presenting findings clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A keen interest in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python for data analysis).
