Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications and drawings.
- Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including identification of defects, non-conformances, and rework requirements.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and final product audits to verify compliance before shipment.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality guidelines and inspection best practices.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
Required Skills
