Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain specialized mapping equipment, including GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, and LiDAR scanners, for accurate data collection.
- Conduct field surveys and site visits to gather geospatial data, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Process, analyze, and interpret various forms of spatial data, including satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and survey measurements.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for data compilation, editing, digitization, and database management.
- Perform quality control checks on collected and processed data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Create and update cartographic products, including maps, charts, and spatial databases, in accordance with established standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.
