Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo from vessels, ensuring proper handling and securing.
- Support the movement and placement of goods within the dock area using various equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) under direct supervision.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area, including sweeping, trash removal, and equipment storage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and maritime guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
