Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with navigation, watchkeeping duties, and maintaining a vigilant lookout.
- Participating actively in cargo loading, unloading, and securing operations.
- Performing routine vessel maintenance tasks such as painting, chipping, cleaning, and basic deck repairs.
- Operating and maintaining essential deck machinery, including winches, cranes, and mooring equipment under supervision.
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and actively participating in all emergency drills.
- Handling ropes, wires, and other mooring equipment safely during docking and undocking procedures.
- Assisting officers in maintaining accurate logs, records, and inventory as required.
- Cleaning and maintaining the vessel's exterior and designated interior spaces to high standards.
- Following instructions from the Master, Chief Mate, and other officers diligently and promptly.

- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
