Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and dismantle market stalls efficiently and attractively.
  • Display products appealingly, ensuring freshness, quality, and proper signage.
  • Actively engage with customers, providing product information, recommendations, and excellent service.
  • Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently, providing correct change and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and manage daily inventory levels.
  • Ensure the stall area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times, adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Manage stock rotation, monitor product expiry dates, and report inventory needs to management.
  • Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
  • Adhere to all local health and safety regulations for food handling and sales.
  • Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales ability with a friendly, outgoing, and persuasive approach.
  • Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
