Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of engaging marketing content, including social media posts, website updates, newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.

  • Manage and update marketing databases and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improved ROI.

  • Assist with the administration of marketing budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Handle general administrative duties for the marketing department as required, including scheduling and material procurement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging marketing technologies, and regulatory changes in the financial services sector.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a marketing support role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant office productivity tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including social media marketing, content creation, and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili, with a strong ability to craft compelling messages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to dynamic environments.

  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behavior in Nyeri County and surrounding regions.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) or related professional qualifications.
