Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Marketing Officer with a strong focus on digital strategies and brand management to join our vibrant marketing team in Vacoas-Phoenix. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns that promote Emtel’s diverse range of products and services, enhance our brand presence, and engage our target audience across various online platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies and campaigns across various platforms (social media, email, search engines, display ads).
- Create engaging and high-quality content (text, image, video) for our website, blog, social media channels, and other digital assets, ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice.
- Manage and optimize company social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and implement SEO/SEM strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our digital properties.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Sales, Customer Service) to align marketing efforts with business objectives and product launches.
- Assist in the development and execution of brand guidelines, ensuring all marketing materials adhere to corporate identity standards.
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors for digital marketing initiatives as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing and brand management (minimum 3 years)
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing principles
- Proficiency in digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Creative thinking with an ability to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and content
- Solid understanding of brand building and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics for minor edits)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar digital marketing platforms
- Experience within the telecommunications or technology industry
- Demonstrable portfolio of successful digital marketing campaigns or branding projects
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior in Mauritius
