Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate primers or renders.
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stone according to specifications, ensuring precise alignment and strong bonds.
- Install various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone) on walls and floors, ensuring even spacing, proper adhesion, and meticulous grouting.
- Cut and shape materials using hand and power tools to fit exact dimensions and contours.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to execute work accurately.
- Repair or replace damaged masonry and tiling, matching existing finishes seamlessly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in bricklaying, block laying, and stone masonry.
- Expertise in wall and floor tiling, including various materials and patterns.
- Strong knowledge of mortar and adhesive mixing ratios and application techniques.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and shape masonry materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.

Preferred Qualifications

- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- First Aid certification.
