Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess individual needs, preferences, and medical history, customizing treatments accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment room and work area at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on aftercare, home maintenance, and additional spa services or products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat bookings and a positive client experience.
- Manage appointment schedules effectively and accurately record client information and treatment notes.
- Collaborate with other spa professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated client experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Massage Therapy or relevant qualification.
- Proven experience delivering a range of massage treatments.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional client care and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, punctual, and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional qualifications in specialized massage techniques (e.g., pregnancy massage, sports massage).
- Experience with spa product sales and recommendations.
- First Aid certification.
