Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage and body treatments in accordance with established protocols and client needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, contraindications, and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tranquil treatment room and spa environment.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend suitable home care routines or future treatments.
- Ensure client comfort and safety throughout the entire treatment process.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and spa policies.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately document client information and treatment notes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other spa team members to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Massage Therapy
- Proven experience performing a wide range of massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy)
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide a personalised service
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene
- Professional demeanour and a passion for wellness
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialised massage techniques (e.g., Hot Stone, Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology)
