Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Hot Stone massage, adapting treatments to client needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, identify contraindications, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment details and progress.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for each client, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Provide professional advice on aftercare, home care, and future treatment recommendations.
- Uphold a high level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service at all times.
- Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development programs.
- Contribute to a positive and harmonious work environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Massage Therapy (e.g., BTEC, ITEC, VTCT)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone massage techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
- Ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs
- Exceptional client care and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in Sports Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, or other specialized modalities
- Experience working in a luxury spa or clinic environment
- First Aid certification
- Proficiency in additional languages
