Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical faults using specialized equipment and software.
- Execute repair and maintenance services, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, brake system repairs, suspension work, and transmission services.
- Inspect and test vehicle components, systems, and parts to ensure they are in proper working order and meet safety standards.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, subassemblies, and units to make necessary repairs or replacements with precision.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel, emission control, braking, steering, and suspension.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including wiring, alternators, starters, and onboard computer systems.
- Advise customers on vehicle repair options, costs, and preventative maintenance schedules clearly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and workshop regulations.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all services performed, parts used, and hours spent on each job using our workshop management system.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, tools, and repair techniques through continuous learning and training opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting across various vehicle types.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to perform routine maintenance, complex repairs, and full system overhauls with high accuracy.
- Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Technical certification or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or a related field.

- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including European, Asian, and local brands.
- ASE certification or equivalent local accreditation (e.g., NITA Grade I/II).
- Familiarity with workshop management software for job tracking and invoicing.
