Lesotho Freight and Bus Services is seeking a dedicated Mechanic Helper to join our team in Sehlaba-Thebe, Qacha’s Nek. You will assist with various repair and maintenance tasks, learn diagnostic procedures, and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled mechanics in performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including buses, trucks, and light vehicles.
- Clean and organize the workshop, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Fetch and retrieve tools, parts, and supplies as instructed by senior mechanics.
- Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, fluid checks, and minor component replacements under supervision.
- Conduct thorough vehicle cleaning, both interior and exterior, as part of maintenance procedures.
- Help diagnose mechanical problems by conducting basic tests and observations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Learn and apply new mechanical skills and techniques continuously.
- Support the general operations of the workshop, including paperwork and record-keeping when required.

- Valid driver's license (Code B or C) will be an advantage
