Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose faults and execute repairs on a wide range of machinery, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and production line equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Conduct precise alignment, fitting, and assembly of mechanical components and systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and relevant Australian industry standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, fault reports, and inventory of parts and tools.
- Collaborate effectively with production, electrical, and supervisory teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills
- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in an industrial or heavy machinery environment.

- Strong understanding of precision fitting, bearing installation, and machinery alignment techniques.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
