Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled technicians and mechanics in various workshop tasks, including disassembly, assembly, and repair of mechanical components.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the workshop area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment within the workshop using appropriate manual and mechanical methods.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Prepare materials for projects, which may include cutting, grinding, cleaning, or deburring.
- Maintain inventory and organization of parts and supplies, reporting low stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or hazards.
- Support the team by performing other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure project completion and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting
