Job Description
A Media Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing various media channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement. As a Media Coordinator, you will be the linchpin in ensuring our clients’ messages resonate with their target audiences, spanning across digital, print, and broadcast platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor media campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, broadcast).
- Assist in the development and implementation of media strategies to achieve client objectives.
- Manage media scheduling, ad placements, and content distribution calendars.
- Track campaign performance, gather data, and generate regular performance reports.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams, content creators, and external agencies/vendors.
- Ensure all media assets adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of media spend and budget allocation.
- Support in the negotiation and booking of media placements.
- Provide administrative support to the media team as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in media planning and buying (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, search, display).
- Proficiency in campaign management and optimization techniques.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with media buying platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).

- Knowledge of local media landscape in Mozambique.
- Fluency in Portuguese is highly advantageous.
- Experience with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
