Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort patients to examination rooms, preparing them for medical examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and minor surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician, following all safety protocols.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, performing basic in-house lab tests.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and maintain cleanliness in examination rooms and treatment areas.
  • Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and maintain electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
  • Handle phone calls, process prescription refills, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and general health information.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy.
  • Competency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications
