As a Medical Assistant with Career.zycto, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, serving as the first point of contact for many of our valued patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients warmly, ensuring a positive initial experience.
  • Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
  • Assist physicians and nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and sterilizing instruments.
  • Document patient information, medical history, and services rendered accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Provide basic patient instruction and education as directed by medical staff.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times.
  • Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage referrals as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to all patient safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop new clinical and administrative skills.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with learning new software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current CPR and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, demonstrating strong communication.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a Medical Assistant training program is a plus, but not required.
