As a Medical Assistant with Career.zycto, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, serving as the first point of contact for many of our valued patients. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients warmly, ensuring a positive initial experience.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and sterilizing instruments.
- Document patient information, medical history, and services rendered accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide basic patient instruction and education as directed by medical staff.
- Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage referrals as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all patient safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
- A strong desire to learn and develop new clinical and administrative skills.
- Empathy, compassion, and a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with learning new software systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
