Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process patient samples (blood, urine, tissues, etc.) according to established protocols.
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology using automated analyzers and manual methods.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Monitor and interpret quality control data, identifying and resolving any deviations from acceptable limits.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) within specified turnaround times.
- Prepare reagents and stains as required for various laboratory procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality assurance policies, and accreditation standards.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
