Key Responsibilities

- Identify and clarify inconsistencies, errors, or missing information with healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to medical terminology, grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and local data protection regulations.
- Utilize transcription software and related equipment efficiently.
- Manage workload effectively to meet established turnaround times and deadlines.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for accuracy and clarity.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

- Proficiency with medical transcription software and word processing applications.
