Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe dictated medical reports, including veterinary notes, clinical observations, surgical reports, pathology findings, and research data, with high accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and data security protocols, safeguarding sensitive information related to animal welfare and research.
- Review and edit transcribed documents thoroughly for grammatical errors, spelling, punctuation, and clarity, ensuring professional standards.
- Utilize medical transcription software, digital dictation equipment, and other relevant tools efficiently.
- Clarify incomplete or ambiguous dictations with dictating professionals to ensure factual accuracy.
- Manage transcription workload effectively to meet established deadlines for both urgent and routine documentation.
- Maintain and update comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, particularly relevant to veterinary science.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Medical Transcriptionist.
- Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, including veterinary medical terms.
- Superior listening skills and acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in medical transcription software and word processing applications.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.

- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
