Career.zycto is seeking a highly compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Mental Health Technician for the Night Shift in our Little Havana facility. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and observe patient behavior and emotional states during the night shift, reporting any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
- Implement therapeutic interventions under the direction of licensed nurses or therapists.
- Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, including conducting safety checks and ensuring adherence to facility policies.
- Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
- Facilitate and co-facilitate therapeutic activities and groups as assigned.
- Engage patients in supportive and therapeutic communication, offering empathy and encouragement.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and participate in de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized patient treatment plans.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
