Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unpack and stock merchandise on shelves, ensuring proper placement, rotation, and expiry date management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including tidying shelves and clearing aisles.
- Implement planograms and merchandising directives accurately to optimize product display and maximize sales.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and in the backroom, communicating stock discrepancies or needs to management promptly.
- Assist with receiving and processing new shipments, verifying quantities against invoices and preparing items for stocking.
- Ensure products are correctly priced and promotional signage is accurately displayed according to current campaigns.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and operational procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage, to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Provide basic assistance and direction to customers as needed, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and store staff to achieve daily goals, maintain store standards, and support overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in merchandising and stock rotation.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and store merchandising principles.
