Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled fabricators and welders with various tasks, learning on-the-job.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
- Operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., grinders, drills, saws) under direct supervision.
- Perform basic cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping of metal components according to specifications.
- Participate in welding and assembly processes, learning different welding techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, guidelines, and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Support quality control checks on finished products, identifying and reporting defects.
- Engage actively in all training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs provided.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude in learning new techniques, operating machinery, and problem-solving.
- Handle and transport materials safely within the workshop.
