Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and metallurgists with sample preparation tasks, including cutting, mounting, and polishing.
- Perform basic material tests under close supervision, such as hardness, microhardness, and density measurements.
- Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and test results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, guidelines, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of lab supplies, consumables, and chemical reagents.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
