CRDB Bank Plc is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Entry-Level Microfinance Loan Support Officer to join our dedicated team in Bububu, Zanzibar City. As a Microfinance Loan Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our microfinance initiatives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to serve our community.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with microfinance loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
- Provide clear and concise information to clients regarding loan products, eligibility criteria, terms, and repayment schedules.
- Conduct preliminary client screenings and data entry into the bank’s internal systems.
- Support the Loan Officers in preparing loan proposals and maintaining client files.
- Follow up with clients on pending documents or inquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote microfinance products and financial literacy.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to loan disbursements, collections, and client activity.
- Handle client queries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to senior officers when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and banking records at all times.
Required Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Swahili and English.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated integrity, strong ethical conduct, and a professional demeanor.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience (even volunteer or internship) in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within the financial sector.
