Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to define API contracts and service boundaries.
- Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment (CI/CD).
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our microservices platform, tools, and processes.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of services through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js)
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot or similar microservices frameworks
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous communication, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Solid grasp of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of architectural patterns for microservices, such as circuit breakers, service discovery, and API gateways
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda)
