Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for various devices and OS versions.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and product quality.
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications are up to the highest standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS development OR Kotlin/Java for Android development.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing frameworks for mobile.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal mobile applications.
