Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive usability test plans for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Conduct remote usability sessions, interviews, and surveys with target users to gather qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Identify, document, and prioritize usability issues, bugs, and areas for improvement with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and software engineers to ensure user-centric design principles are applied throughout the development process.
- Analyze test data, user behavior, and industry best practices to inform product decisions and design iterations.
- Create detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest mobile usability trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve testing practices.
- Act as a strong advocate for the end-user, ensuring their needs and pain points are central to product development.
- Contribute to the refinement of user stories, wireframes, and prototypes from a usability perspective.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in mobile usability testing or UX research.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, human-computer interaction, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Proficiency with various usability testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback, Maze, Hotjar) and remote collaboration platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with both iOS and Android mobile operating systems and their respective design guidelines.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
